Consulting Services for the Upgrade & Extension of Abu Rawash WWTP, 1.6 Million M3/Day, Egypt

Aiming to improve the quality of wastewater discharged into drainage system in Cairo West (Giza) in order to increase coverage of improved sanitation and clean environment for nearly 9 million populations living in this area, the CAPW invited for bids to select a Consultant to provide consultancy services for expanding and upgrading Abu Rawash Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The Project includes:
Upgrading the existing 1.2 Million m3/day primary treatment to secondary treatment.
Expanding the existing plant capacity by additional 400,000 m3/day to reach a total capacity of 1.6 million m3/day with primary and secondary treatment.

AAW Responsibilities

Prepare and review conformed contractor documents and agreement after awarding the project to be signed between CAPW and selected contractor.                                             
Review the design of biological, process, hydraulic, geotechnical, civil, architectural, electro-mechanical works and any other designs which will be submitted by the contractor.                                                                     
Perform all Engineer Duties describe in the Contract Condition
Review, comment and recommend the construction methodology, working, Drawing, Equipment submittals, construction time schedule.
