AAW has extensive experience developing the Institutional and Regulatory framework for project finance in emerging markets in Egypt, Africa, MENA, and OECD countries, across multiple sectors. With Deep knowledge of financed facilities in energy—hydro, the solar, wind, waste energy, public, IPP; transport—ports, airports, road, and rail; water & wastewater; industrial parks; education; and healthcare.
What we do
Project development and transactional technical support to Project Pipeline and new projects:
⦁ Provision of guidance to the Contracting Authorities on the content and preparation of Project Proposals, Pre-Feasibility Studies, Feasibility Studies, subsequent review of the reports, and advice.
⦁ Establishing and operationalizing systems and frameworks to ensure compliance with legal frameworks, as well as regulations.
⦁ Development of the project finance manuals and their implementation, which is set to act as a detailed guide for both national and county-level projects.
⦁ Technical support to operationalize the Project Facilitation Fund (PFF) as required.
⦁ Assists in the operationalization of outstanding elements under Government Support.
Provision of advice on the capacity building requirements of the Contracting Authorities, and assists in the enhancement efforts:
⦁ Advice on the building of expertise within Project Finance Units and across the various Contracting Authorities.
⦁ Assists with the design and support in the implementation of an in-house capacity-building program for the Project Finance Unit’s technical staff assigned to projects, to institutionalize project development and transactional capacity.
⦁ Providing mentorship and acting as a source of technical guidance to the technical staff assigned to projects.
