Celebrating the best in MENA's projects, in its annual event in Dubai, MEED Projects Awards 2023 has awarded the tilte "Transmission Project of the Year" to “Sohar to Al-Dhahirah Water Transmission System”, the largest water transmission project in the Sultanate of Oman.
AAW scope covers the design review and construction supervision for
the project developed by Nama Water Services that includes a water transmission line from the Sohar Desalination plant to Ad Dahirah for a total length of 230km with 15 water tanks having a storage capacity of 451,000 cubic metres located in Sohar, Ibri and Dhank.
