Rehabilitation and improvements to the Wastewater system in Historical and Old areas of Jeddah, and its extensions till the year 2050 (3,750 ha).  
The work includes the following:
Upgrading of existing wastewater facilities, and the extensions till the target year. 
Review and update of the existing networks and pump stations designs.

AAW Responsibilities

Data collection, census studies, and water consumption studies.
Complete assessment for the existing Wastewater facilities.
Soil investigation and topographic survey works.
Preparation of detailed 40-year development Master Plan comprising the location of main Wastewater facilities.
Study and evaluation of alternative schemes; and cost estimates.
Preparation of preliminary design and detailed design followed by a sophisticated hydraulic analysis and modelling for Wastewater networks. 
Preparation of tender documents including tender drawings, technical specifications and bills of quantities.
