Construction Supervision of Water Transmission System from Sohar to Dhahirah Governorate, Oman

In order to meet the potable water master plan demands, a decision has been made to locate a new 250 ml/d Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant at Sohar close to the existing 150 ml/day plant which ultimately will be decommissioned. The new plant will be an Independent Water Project (IWP) procured through OPWP (Oman Power and Water Procurement Company) to provide Al Dhahirah governorate with potable water. The project contains:
Pipelines of a total length of about 222 km comprising of 19 km of DN 1600mm, 190 km of DN 1200mm and 13 km of DN 400mm and associated works
Reservoirs of a total of 350,000 m3 production storage, 93,000 m3 distribution storage, and 3 balancing tanks
Pump stations 
Chlorination System
Control Systerm (SCADA)
