The Improved Water and Wastewater Services Program - Phase II (IWSP II) plans to increase the coverage of water supply systems and wastewater treatment infrastructure in four Governorates of Upper Egypt (Qena, Assiout, Minya, Sohag).
The project will contribute to reducing pollution from discharge of untreated wastewater in the environment and to improving the quality of water services, thereby enhancing the living conditions of 15 million inhabitants in the Upper-Egypt Region.

Service Package1: Prepare Preliminary design and ESIA/ESMP for the selected investment projects.
Service Package2: Prepare final design, engineers cost estimate and tender documents.
Service Package3: Carry out procurement of works and equipment (tender, assignment of works contracts).
Service Package4: Carry out construction supervision including occupational health and safety standards on the construction sites.
